Feeling Swell x Badfish: Limited Edition Surf-Inspired Ring in Venice Beach

This collab has been such a full-circle moment for me. I remember wearing Feeling Swell clothes when I was younger, so to be able to work with them now still feels a little surreal to me. We actually got connected through TikTok. I reached out about a collab, and they were totally down. From there I got to design a ring for them, and they even wanted to put my collection in their Venice Beach store, which is a dream.

I started the way I always do, carving in wax. I took their logo and built it into a ring, cast in sterling silver, with black sand from here in Bali. This part was really special to me, being able to combine the two places that have shaped me the most: California, where I began making jewelry, and Bali, where I’ve been creating and finding so much inspiration in the last year.

This collab feels natural to me. Feeling Swell has always been about surf culture and staying true to yourself and that’s exactly what I try to do with Badfish, too. And the fact that their founder is also from New Jersey, like me, just made it feel even more connected.

Getting to work with Feeling Swell has been honestly so exciting and meaningful for me. Designing this ring and seeing it come to life was such a fun process, and I’m super grateful for the opportunity. To have a piece out there that represents a little bit of my roots, my travels, and my journey as an artist is just sick.
